The Result of belief that Prophet Isa a.s is alive

If you say Jesus Prophet (pbuh) did not die, then you must admit  that the Quran is full of contradictions.Whereas Allah clearly told us there is no discrepancy between different verses: Do they not then ponder over Quran?  And had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein a much discrepancy.  4:82 Verily this (the Quran) is a conclusive discourse, and it is not a thing of joke. 86:13-14 Facts from the Quran If you believe Jesus is alive, then All Rasuls before Muhammad (pbuh) passed away (3:144) This is a serious contradiction Meaning of the word ‘wafat' is death in more than 20 different verses in the Quran Use of the word ‘wafat' in 3:55 and 5:117 are serious exceptions and contradictory. Christians would regard Jesus(pbuh) and his mother as God ONLY after his death (wafat) (5:116) The verse is contradictory since the Christians have been considering Jesus(pbuh) and his mother as god for a long time. Laws of Allah has been

How Did the Belief in the Resurrection Originate?

How then did the belief arise that Jesus actually rose from the dead in the literal sense and became the dominant narrative? Amidst these difficult circumstances given above, Paul emerged as the originator of a new Jesus movement tailored for the Hellenistic world, outside the homelands of Judaism. He took the wonderful story which had the kernel of truth – Jesus was alive – and created another stream of Christianity distinct from the original stream of Christianity being a Jewish sect abiding by the Mosaic Law. What he created was a religion about Jesus in contra-distinction to the original religion of Jesus. He originated a belief system reminiscent of the Greco-Roman understanding of dying and rising gods straight out of Hellenistic pagan heritage, but fused with Judaic and Gnostic elements.

Sorry, America, You’re Wrong, the Jews Did Not Kill Jesus

A new poll finds that 26 percent of Americans believe the Jews killed Jesus. They’re historically ignorant, but they do read their Bible—that is who the New Testament blames, after all. A  poll  released last week by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reports that twenty-six percent of the American public continues to believe that “Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus.” Although the number has dropped from 31% in 2011, the ADL described it as “surprisingly large.” In many ways it is strange that anyone continues to think this. In the wake of World War II a number of Christian leaders and organizations issued formal statements on this topic. The Second Vatican Council of the Roman Catholic Church categorically stated that the Jews as a whole could not be blamed for the death of Jesus.  And yet, some fifty odd years later, a quarter of regular Americans still think that Jews are to blame. Really? Sigh. For all of the surprise over the results of the poll, there’s no

Sir Syed Ahmad Khan

Sir Syed Ahmad Khan Sahib,  famous 19th century Muslim scholar and founder of the AliGarh Muslim University, wrote in his quranic commentary:  "Now we must turn to the Holy Quran to see what it says. The Quran makes mention of Jesus’ death in four places … Firstly in Sura Aal Imran, secondly in Sura Ma’ida, … thirdly in Sura Maryam … fourthly in Sura Nisa’. Jesus was not killed by the Jews, either by stoning or by crucifixion, but he died his natural death, and God raised him in rank and status .......… From the first three verses it is clear that Jesus died a natural death. However, as the Ulama of Islam had followed the Christians, in accepting that Jesus had gone up to heaven alive, before looking at the Quran, so they have tried to interpret some of the words in these verses to accord with their unsound belief." Faith in Death of Jesus is Demanding of Love of Muhammad ﷺ

Hazrat Mirza Gulam Ahmad Qadiani the Promised Messiah as said :- To me, he alone is a believer  who follows the Holy Prophet ﷺ faithfully and attains an exalted spiritual station, as God Himself says: “Say, ‘If you love Allah, follow me; so that you become His beloved.’”  (aal-e-imaraan :32) Love demands love for whatever the beloved does. The Holy Prophet ﷺ died, and, by courting  death, he demonstrated that this was the tradition to be followed. Who would now wish to live, or wish someone else to be still alive, after the Holy Prophet’s has died? Love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ simply demands that one  should lose oneself in total submission to him, exercise complete control over one’s emotions and have full awareness of one’s station as a part of the Muslim nation. This being so, how can one claim to love and be a follower of the Holy Prophet ﷺ if he accepts a superior status for Jesus a.s by pronouncing him alive and the Holy Prophet ﷺ dead? (Lecture Ludhian

Jesus In Kashmir

The fundamental doctrines of Church Christianity are based upon the death of Jesus on the cross, his resurrection and his bodily ascension to heaven. Though Christian masses continue to render lip service to this fiction, few thinkers, in Christian lands today believe in or dare assert the historic authenticity of these supposed events. There are not even prima facie considerations to sustain the theory of death upon the cross and there is no sure evidence to support the unnatural phenomena of the resurrection and the ascension. Indeed the gospels themselves furnish the most formidable refutations of these myths. The basic doctrine of church has been that Jesus being son of god appeared in human shape to take upon himself the accumulated burden of humanity’s sins and to expiate them on the cross so that mankind may attain salvation through belief in the atonement.  Being son of god he was very god himself and through his death upon the cross he became “accursed” for

Jesus Travelled to India (Pandit Jawahar lal Nehru)

Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru wrote in his book : Glimpses of World History All over Central Asia, in Kashmir and Ladakh and Tibet and even farther north, there is still a strong belief that Jesus or Isa travelled about there. Some people believe that he visited India also. It is not possible to say anything with certainty, and indeed most authorities who have studied the life of Jesus do not believe that Jesus came to India or Central Asia. But there is nothing inherently improbable in his having done so……… Book : Glimpses of World History  Page 84

Aloe and Myrrh: modern day analysis of two ancient herbs

By Arif Khan .. Edited by  Jonathan Ghaffar   Aloe and Myrrh are mentioned in the Gospel as being present immediately after the body of Hadhrat Isa (Jesus) was tended to by Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea; the presence of these medicinal plants has often been explained by Christian scholars as being part of an embalming process, whereas Hadhrat Masih Ma’ud (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad) in his treatise  “Masih Hindustan Mein”  (“Jesus in India”) described how they were essential ingredients for an ointment applied to Jesus’ wounds. What role do these herbs play today? Can an exploration of their modern day uses throw light on possible events 2000 years ago? The mention of the herbs appears in the Crucifixion story as it is recorded in the Gospel of John:

Are These Crucifixion Scars?

These remarkable footprints were found in the tomb next to the sarcophagus. This was first reported in the letter of Maulvi Abdullah  to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad written at the end of the 19th  Century. The footprints, as indicated in the picture below  by Prof. Dr. Fida Hassnain, clearly show that the  sculptor was depicting the feet of a man who had  been wounded, and he wished to portray this in some  manner....

Jesus Versus Finality of Prophethood

The belief that the last prophet, Muhammad (PBUH),  has already come and gone and the assertions that Jesus (as) would descend to earth as a prophet after him are so inconsistent that they cannot be owned simultaneously. In fact this cocktail of two unrelated issues was made by some Ulema of the late medieval times. At the time of the revelation of the Holy Quran any connection between the two was unthinkable.

Death of Jesus According to Quran

The Holy Quran emphatically proves that Jesus has passed away like other mortal human beings, and is no longer alive anywhere. It clearly states that Jesus possessed only human characteristics, and was in no way divine but a servant of God and his messenger. From birth to death, he was subject to all the physical and biological limitations that God has ordained for human beings. First evidence:  All human beings live and die in this world. Prophets belong to the human race, and they are, therefore, subject to the eternal Divine law that human beings live and die in this world. The Quran states:

Christianity without the resurrection of Christ

What would Christianity be without the resurrection of Christ? The Gospel narratives about the crucifixion and resurrection raise doubts about the death of Jesus on the cross. Apostle Paul said, “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.” (1 Corinthians 15:17) Thus, it was Paul who proclaimed the central doctrine of Christianity and the celebration of Easter is the remembrance of what Christianity stands upon. But what if there was no resurrection? Would Christianity truly be without any purpose? For many years now, the crucifixion, Christ’s death, and resurrection have been enveloped in mystery as scholars have debated upon this event in history. There is no doubt that there are many pieces of this puzzle which are missing. Jesus has been an important part of the three Abrahamic religions. While the Jews rejected Jesus as the awaited Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament, the Muslims have believed in him and accepted him as a prophe

In Sahih al-Bukhari, there are recorded two different physical descriptions of Jesus a.s —  1. One applying to the past Messiah and  2. The other to the Messiah whose advent in the latter days is prophesied.

Reality of Crucifixion

Before shifting our gaze to the facts relating to Christ and his crucifixion, perhaps it would not be out of place to mention here, in brief, the Ahmadiyya Muslim understanding of what happened during and after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This issue will be briefly touched upon here and a detailed discussion will follow later.

Jesus was not born in December

According to Quran Jesus Christ was not born in December                                          وَهُزِّيْٓ اِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ تُسٰقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا      “And Shake towards thyself the trunk of palm tree ; it will drop upon thee fresh ripe dates(19:26)

Did Jesus rise in a physical body or a spiritual one?

By Zia H Shah MD My dear Christians, OK, you have been long indoctrinated in the Christian dogma for generations, so you do not immediately understand the swoon hypothesis, the theory that Jesus went into a swoon on the cross and may have been just resuscitated and not resurrected. But consider this, if he was resurrected, was he given a physical body or a spiritual body? This should not be difficult to answer, after a life time of professing belief in resurrection!

Promised Messiah was to be from the Muslim community, and not an Israelite prophet ( اِمَامُکُمْ مِنْکُمْ)

The Israelite Messiah, Jesus, died, as is made clear by the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s sayings. And the Messiah whose advent in the latter days has been prophesied by the Holy Prophet, was to be from the Muslim community, and  not  an Israelite prophet. This is borne out by the following  Hadith :
